Mission Statement
The Union Street Garden and Community Development's mission is to operate and maintain a beautiful welcoming green space for members and volunteers to grow food, fruit and flowers, and to provide educational, social and charitable opportunities for the neighborhood and the community. The Garden is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the rich history of the Garden and the members and community who have made it what it is today. The Garden is made up of a diverse and inter-generational community of individuals and families and seeks to create a space where people of all walks of life come together to garden, farm, learn, rest, and play.
